Frequently asked questions
How do I verify a downloaded file?
Choose the file and paste the SHA-256 checksum from the download page. A green “matches” label means the file is intact and unmodified.
Should I use MD5 for passwords?
No. MD5 and SHA-1 are broken for security. For passwords use a slow algorithm such as bcrypt, scrypt or Argon2 on the server.
Is my data sent to a server?
No. Everything runs in your browser, so API keys, tokens, configs and customer data never leave your machine.
