- The Hindi text appears on the right as you type.
- Use capitals for retroflex sounds (T = ट, D = ड) and doubled vowels for long sounds (aa = आ).
- Copy the Hindi text.
Frequently asked questions
How do I type the bindu (ं) and chandrabindu (ँ)?
Type M for ं, or simply n/m before a consonant, as in hindii → हिंदी. Type ~ after a vowel for ँ, as in hai~ → हैँ.
How do I type ज़ and फ़?
Type z for ज़ and f for फ़.
Why does “ram” become राम without a halant?
Hindi words do not pronounce the final “a”, so a final consonant is written without ् automatically.
