Frequently asked questions
How do I calculate a discount?
Sale price = original price × (1 − discount ÷ 100). A 30% discount on ₹2,000 is ₹600, so you pay ₹1,400.
Is 50% + 20% off the same as 70% off?
No. The extra 20% applies to the already discounted price. 50% + 20% off equals a 60% discount, not 70%.
How do I find the discount percentage from two prices?
Discount % = (original price − sale price) ÷ original price × 100. Use our percentage calculator for this.
