Frequently asked questions
How do I resize an image without stretching it?
Keep “Keep aspect ratio” ticked. When you change the width, the height changes in proportion. For a fixed shape such as a square, choose “Crop” so the image fills the frame without distortion.
What size is a WhatsApp DP?
WhatsApp shows profile photos as a circle, so a square image works best. 500×500 pixels is plenty.
Can I make a small image bigger?
Yes, but enlarging cannot add detail, so the result may look soft. Resizing down always looks sharp.
Are my photos uploaded to a server?
