How to create an invoice
- Enter your business details and the customer’s details. Add GSTINs if you are GST-registered.
- Add items with HSN/SAC code, quantity, rate and GST rate.
- Add discount, shipping, notes and bank details.
- Click “Download PDF / Print” and choose “Save as PDF”.
Frequently asked questions
What must a GST invoice contain?
Supplier name, address and GSTIN; a unique invoice number and date; customer name and address (and GSTIN if registered); HSN/SAC codes; description, quantity and value of goods or services; tax rate and amount of CGST/SGST or IGST; place of supply; and a signature.
Can I make an invoice without GST?
Yes. Untick “Add GST” to create a simple bill, for example if you are not GST-registered or are a freelancer below the threshold.
Is my data stored on your server?
No. Everything stays in your browser. Your details are saved in local storage on your device so you don’t have to re-enter them.
