How to create a QR code

  1. Choose the type of QR code, for example Website or Wi-Fi.
  2. Fill in the details. The preview updates as you type.
  3. Optionally open “Design” to change colours, dot style and add a logo.
  4. Download as PNG, SVG or JPG and test it with your phone camera.

Frequently asked questions

Do these QR codes expire?

No. They are static QR codes: the information is stored inside the code itself, not behind a redirect link, so they work forever, offline, and without any tracking.

Can I add my logo to a QR code?

Yes. Open Design and add a logo. Error correction is set to High automatically so the code still scans with the centre covered.

Which format should I use for printing?

SVG is a vector format that stays sharp at any size, ideal for banners and packaging. For documents and social media, a 1024 px PNG is enough.

Why won’t my QR code scan?

Keep enough contrast (dark code on a light background), keep the quiet margin around it, avoid making it too small (at least 2×2 cm), and don’t make the logo too large.
