Frequently asked questions
What reduces GIF size the most?
Resizing to 50–75% has the biggest effect, followed by dropping every second frame. Reducing colours helps most on photographic GIFs.
Will the animation become faster?
No. When frames are dropped, their display time is added to the frames that remain, so the GIF plays at the same speed.
