Frequently asked questions

What is the formula for lumpsum returns?

Future value = P × (1 + r)^t, where P is the amount invested, r is the annual return as a decimal and t is the number of years.

How much will ₹1 lakh become in 10 years?

At 12% a year, ₹1 lakh grows to about ₹3.1 lakh in 10 years. At 8% it becomes about ₹2.16 lakh.

Lumpsum or SIP: which is better?

A lumpsum gets your full amount invested immediately, which helps when markets rise. A SIP spreads risk over time. If you already have a large sum, a staggered approach (STP) is a middle path.
